Plus, the information counter was closing at 15.59 (better not get I’ll and come to the public hospital and asking/hoping for help). If you however come, you will have to find your own way and direction …!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave it 4 stars because I had a good experience for a Thailand state run hospital. Staff are helpful but do not speak much English. To navigate the required queues you really need a native speaker. However, doctors seems very competent and speak very good English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience. Not advisable. If you are not white, they will not entertain you. I tried to call the hospital to try once more hoping to get a chance, but they just said "no speak english, no ultrasound today and forever *then laugh* okay thank you bye!"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here to get the second Covid PCR test required for the Test and Go package. Had trouble figuring out what's where since my complete lack of Thai language. Got very lucky with a local who was kind enough to translate and direct me to the proper place.
If you happen to be a tourist on a Test and Go package and are in need of a PCR Covid test, you need to be in a facility(Large, semi-permanent tent) right across the street from the hospital's main entrance. Talk to the people working there for instructions on what needs to be done next. Be prepared to spend 1 - 1.5 hours waiting for your turn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Think carefully before coming here for serious medical needs. My experience here was quite frightening. The doctors were disorganized with my care. The nurses on 3 occasions almost sent big air pockets right into my IV. I had to tell them to stop and only then did they correct it. Dangerous. After the surgery, I had many complications and the doctors never came back to address my serious issues. They just recommended surgery and never followed up. Seems like once the bill is high they don’t care anymore. The doctors even brought a class of students into my room unannounced while I was being checked by the nurse and I was naked at the time. So unprofessional.
