★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I renewed my driver's license yesterday and it was the best experience with any government agency I've ever dealt with. The lady at the counter 11 was super and super efficient. She was smiling and laughing the whole time. The gentleman who administered the eye test was very professional and very friendly and helpful. Two desks open for processing and photo taking. Both were very efficient and friendly as well. I was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes only. My last renewal was in Bangkok which took over 7 hours. I almost look forward to my next renewal. Thanks for the great service!

- friendly
- fast
- speak English very well
- pro active (coming to get you if they have time before the previous given time)
Went in to get my driving license at 08.30. The whole process took only 1 hour and was done the same day.
Many thanks to the people working here, they made the process easy and convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a drivers license arrive early if you want to finish your day a little early. Be patient. Lines start forming long before 8. Immediately get que number upon arrival. Someone was outside long before 8am with que numbers. If you get there at 7-7:30 better.
Bring original and copies of existing license (english or thai or translation may be necessary) and passport. Front/back of license and necessary pages of passport. One set needed for each license desired. Also bring medical health certificate and residency certificate from the immigration office (again one set for each license desired).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As from Aug 2021, renewal of driver's license still has to be wait about a week to because of Corona, so you don't take it a same-day service. Then you may want to make an appointment in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived 10:30 normal weekday to change address on car blue book and 2 driving licences (car and motorbike). 55 BAHT to change car blue book and wait 45 minutes to get book back. I was told no need to change address on licences because they already had my passport number on them. I had been prepared for a long wait but staff were very efficient and spoke good English. I needed passport original and Residence certificate from Immigration, and I also took several photocopies of both which they requested.
