Ignore the foreigners having their little whine. It’s a small family owned business with unpredictable flows of guests. This is a superb restaurant worth the schlep through the lanes of Cha-am. We ordered three familiar favorites: kale with salty fish, grilled prawns in tamarind sauce, and crab meat stir fried in curry powder. All were superb, with wonderful fresh ingredients, bought from the seafood market visible a few hundred meters along the beach. The prawns, in particular, were worth the journey - huge, fresh, succulent and juicy.
For the quality and quantity of the fresh seafood, it’s reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best seafood right on the beach. Tasty and fresh seafood well prepared with traditional recipes. Squid with roe fried in garlic and sun-dried mackerel are among top dishes. Also, salted-grilled fresh prawn comes in good big size. Hot and sour soup is really a hit! Local sellers of fruit and palm sugar are at top quality! Off street parking is available. I enjoyed rose apple (Chompoo in Thai) cracked and eat fresh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please do not eat here. Mediocre overpriced food. The worst part was the service. Wait staff was slow and unresponsive. We complained about the food and the chef/owner proceeded to blame us for unrealistic expectations?! When I told her we would not come back, she just said that is fine because she can sell to other customers. In all my years of eating out, I have never come across such abrasive service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Threw away half my order of crab because they thought I wouldnt eat it. They then proceeded to take it out of the trash and give it back!!! I tried to tell them I want it remade but the manager or owner said that it was our fault for this. We should have told them not to throw away our food!?!? I'm appalled by this. They charged us the full 6545 baht for our order and wouldn't even give us a discount. I'm shocked that this place still stands with the quality of service and the audacity of the owner not owning up to their mistakes. NEVER COMING AGAIN!!!!!!
