★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the guy that works here, the first reviewer, is fantastic. He gave me some recommendations of where to travel to, where to eat in town, and to see the nearby river which happened to have quite a good sunset at that moment in time.. unfortunately, this is not a well-equipped outdoors store. It’s more of a service center for the Thai outdoors equipment company ‘K2’. There are a few tents ‘n pots in stock, but not much else. However, he did recommend me to go to a real outdoors shop a little west of Kanchanaburi: ~”habo shop”(?) (คอบบร้า อุปกรณ์ทหาร-เดินป่า in Thai language)
