I am 50-50 on this, happy to support local business that is cool. But I feel this place not only over charge for similar food found in any restaurant, the taste is the same or not wow. While it's great they made Michelin guide, but it doesn't give the equal opportunity to other local restaurants that does well. If anything, I think the Michelin guide just ruined the true local experience, because now it is no reservations, come eat, pay and go. Plus they only accept hard cash, in the midst of pandemic. So probably will not repeat my expensive and overpaying meal for a tom yum, "omelette" and soy sauce noodle...

Worth the price. Waited about 1 hour from the time we arrived until we received our crab omelet. Definitely worth the 1000 baht. It is loaded with juicy crab meat. Good service and amazing taste. One crab omelet is enough for two people. I personally don't think is overrated and definitely not expensive for what you get. Highly recommended.

cons: it involves a long wait. pros: it was well worth it! the crab omelette is out of this world - crispy egg roll with huge and delicious chunks of crab meat within. if you don't have a reservation, try arriving 30 mins before opening time and bring a book or fully charged device to keep you entertained as you wait. good things come to those who wait!

Took me four tries to finally reserved a table. Was excited to go. I underestimated how big these portions were since everything in Thailand is relatively small. Couldn’t finish all the food. Love the Tom yum soup. Had it extra spicy. Still burning my mouth but delicious. 5260 baht total for three of us. Worth the money

Jay Fai is an institute, she still cooks every dishes by herself. Food is absolutely delicious and worth the hype but a little on the overpriced side. Regarding the service: If you’re nice to them, they will be nice to you ? We made it in for the second attempt - at mid afternoon after a rain storm with a half an hour waiting time. We had the crab omelette which is huge and it is an immense amount of crab in it - worth every baht. And we also ate the drunken noodles which is not that big portion but top notch seafood and texture is great.

I think the best dish is noodles dish and worth visiting this kitchen. It's delicious, unique cooking with great aromatic taste. I love the char that comes with the noodles and the crunchy squids. The coconut shoots is delicious too. The way she cooks it, the result is very unique, sweet and crunchy. Other dishes, overall it's good. It''s quite expensive. Although understanding that every ingredient is high quality. The booking via email doesn't work, nobody reply. We decided to come early. We got to the place around 8:45 a.m. and we were at the 5th table, luckily we got the table. We got our food first dish at 10:30 a.m. It took about 1.30 hrs to get the food since ordered.

The food definitely tastes good. Worth it?? Not really. Every dish looks just like what you would see in other reviews and videos, with jumbo sized seafood. However at this price point, there are many places in Thailand that can match the taste or offer better value. It’s impressive that Jay Fai still cooks every dish herself. It’s a cool gimmick if you don’t mind the wait, but I wouldn’t put this place in a must visit list if you’re not local.

We waited for 3hrs after arriving at 9:30am, and finally eat our food at 12:30. I suggest to arrive before the shop opens, maybe around 8-8:30am. The omelette is not too flavorsome, just full of crab. The fried fried rice noodle is shockingly good, the texture of the noodle itself is super stretchy, I’ve never had it anywhere else. Flavor is rich. I’d suggest to order 1 for each person, as the serve was not big, and it’s too yummy to share! We also ordered curry crab. Again, lots of crab but flavor is mild. You can give it a miss if you’ve ordered omelette. I regret we didn’t order Tom yum I literally stood outside the kitchen in the smoke and heat, and watched the lady Jay Fai cooking a storm for 2.5hrs. It’s very enjoyable, and it’s almost like a art performance
