★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local market. interesting to walk through. If you are an animal lover you wont like it. they are selling baby turtles and huge frogs. all those fish and eels are in small containers some of them in really small amount of water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a completely authentic Thai market. Setting on the edge of a canal, you can find all kinds of fruits and vegetables, meats and fish. Just don't be to freaked out if a large rat scurries by your feet. Maybe 2km north of Khao San Road. Easy walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this market experience! It was open bright and early with all local vendors selling everything you need. Fresh vegetables, fruit, different kinds of fish, and meat. In another section they have tons of beautiful plants for sale. It's a shame we aren't allowed to bring back any of the plants because they're so pretty!
