★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to an afternoon meat tasting experience offered by the restaurant.
The chef gave an informative lecture and answered many questions about the differences in the offerings, cooking technique, and the locally constructed grill used for cooking (very impressive). The three meats were quite different in taste as well, so it is was nice to try them all at the same time. The food and service were both excellent and in all, the experience was a lot of fun.

Food couldn't fault, 5 course degustation menu absolutely spot on, lobster cooked perfectly and beef delicious. Will be back again very soon, well done to all at Il Fumo, thanks for a great night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here from Singapore to try their 40 day dry age steak and I was pleasantly surprised by their great standards of service. Very synchronized serving and good attention to detail. Food was delicious as well with special mention to their bread and amazing olive oil from Sicily which I will never forget.

That was my first time having dinner in a restaurant like this one so I felt a little nervous but, the staffs are so kind, warm and professional. They were giving us a great time.
One thing, it's cost a lot for me (as I've started working for less than a year) so I think we could go there again only on the special day like that day (an wonderful complimentary from Il Fumo's chef and staffs are also served).
We're really satisfied and appreciated it. ? Il Fumo completed our special day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect hideaway restaurant right in the heart of Bangkok. Tuck away in a little alley (that leads to no where) is Il Fumo, apparently they are Bangkok’s first proper Portuguese restaurant. Service was great; friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staffs. While the menu prices are on the “higher-end” side of the scale the restaurant doesn't feel pretentious. Total bill could set you back a few but I must say that it was money well spent.
Kudos to the team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and most interesting restaurants in Bangkok! The food is really good and it’s the first Portuguese fine dining in Bangkok!
The chef is very attentive and often goes to the table and explains the dishes which makes all the difference and a better experience! You can also go to have a tour in the kitchen! Definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back
