It took about 20-25 min for our food to get ready but that’s expected because we had placed a customized order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sushi were good, but the portion came in bite-sizes. Unlike many places I have been to in Bangkok with the same price range, those places, you receive at least two bites. They do have a 599++ buffet that you can go for if you're hungry and that gets you a wide range of food form a special menu. Their set comes with soup and a slice of cantaloupe. That's not too bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honmono Sushi is a chain of restaurant that is owned by the Japanese (cuisine) Iron Chef in the Thai edition of the show. I have tried the flagship at Sukumvit many years ago, and the experience good. However the same can't be said about the Rama IX branch. Currently the branch has offered buffet options and I've tried it this time around. The taste was disappointing and the quality was subpar compared to earlier experiences. Many orders were mixed up and served completely out of order. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very decent sushi place, which delivers good value for money with the reasonable portion. Their soba and beef suki were surprisingly good. Overall, the place seems abit run-down and should clean up better.
