The Homtel is a small family run farm that provides volunteering, camping and camping for anyone who wants to escape the exhausting pace of city life and over commercialized tourist destinations.
Rediscover Thailand - the small and sleepy villages. Go for a nature walk, ride to the local store for a drink, watch the stars light up the sky and if you're lucky, make a wish on one.
The Dong Phayayen Forest Complex spans 230 km. The site is home to more than 800 species of fauna, including 112 mammal species, 392 bird species and 200 reptile and amphibian species. It is internationally important for the conservation of globally threatened and endangered mammal, bird and reptile species.
Whether it's hiking, swimming, fishing, or just hanging out in a hammock reading a good book, here's a list of activities and you're sure to find something to make you feel at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been recently reminiscing about the wonderful experience I shared at Homtel with Dawn and her family and all the volunteers, back in Feb 2018. Some tasks we completed included: repainting the outdoor kitchen, building a fence along the road to the house and before I arrived I think the team had recently finished building a new lamb shed. I drawn on my experiences at this farm everyday. Thank you, team <3
