★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The haew Narok waterfall is a transliteration of the valley of hell waterfall, and that name is tragically too apt, as about three years ago, over twenty elephants perished, (jumping down the ravine), in an effort to save one calf that had fallen.
As a tourist attraction, it's the leading one in Khao Yai.
It's free, there's a pleasant path of, I guess, 500m, ending in about four rather steep sets of steps which lead down to an observation area.
It's fairly impressive, about a 90m drop, I think, and is of course best viewed in the rainy season, albeit it falls all year...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20-30 minutes of walking in the wild. Well laid Concrete walkways. Last 5 mins of steep steps lest to Wonderful Waterfall. Care to be taken while walking after rain may be slippery. 16:30 will be deadline to enter the Waterfall Entry coz the Entry closes by 17:00

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better waterfalls, at least for water drop and volume. Aside from the discriminatory and excessive 500 baht for foreigners to enter the park this is one of the better parks to visit, in part to see the waterfalls and the hike through a wet forest. The walk to the falls takes you down some steep stairs, but it is worth it. Definitely worth a visit, and but for the excessive fees I'd go again. In addition to the falls, just the ride through the park is very nice.
