2 find the restaurant, look for Tesco Lotus and the restaurant is on the second floor of this 10-story building. the restaurant serve Chinese Sichuan and Chiewchow home style cooking which worth coming back for the second and third time though I found this place to be a bit pricey

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old-school Chinese restaurant with Sichuan n other dishes. Tasty but not too oily/salty. Nice airconditiones respite from the madness of Yaowarat. Have to walk up a dodgy old building to get here but it’s worth the trek!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly renovated Chinese restaurant in the mall (next to Lotus exit), creating clean, deluxe and arty ambience. It provides wide ranges of homie Chinese food, nice portion and delicious. Owner is local Thai-Chinese. Staff can speak Chinese and are very attentive and helpful.
There are 2 train style seats (max 4ppl), 2 small round tables near grande Chinese decoration walls (max 3ppl), 2 small (2-4ppl) + 2 big "Chinese round table" (with lazy Susan). The environment is full of coziness and sense of reunion, whilst staff work efficiently and everything is clean and tidy, and you do not feel too bustling like in some traditional Chinese restaurant. A a nice place for solo, small or big groups. The name means "JinBao Tea Room" (Tea Room is usually associated with Cantonese homie dishes) but cuisine is more like fusion Thai-Chinese cuisine with Sichuan/northen China flavour. They also offer delivery box (1 Vege + 1 meat + rice) with reasonable price. Rolling out membership card shortly.
