 Parking is free parking under the shade of a tree. Standard room 600 baht, no breakfast. Coming as a family will be difficult. The bed is 5 feet.

The atmosphere of the accommodation is shady with many trees in the spacious room, but the lighting system in the room has only one light, which is turned off, then darkens the whole room and lights up the whole room. It is also a monthly accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Hotel was a big surprise in many respects. Very central and very quiet location. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Staff very helpfull. The Park around is just very beautiful. Enough parking lots. This hotel can easily compare to Hotels that cost 3 times more. Just everything was perfect. Value for Money is top. I will definately come back when ever I am in Khon Kaen on business. Thanks a lot to all the staff.

Reach the hotel quite early (7am.) after very long journey, even-through they are some room vacant but not allow to get in the room until 2 pm. This is doesn’t make sense if someone traveling with public transport how do we go around til 2 pm. So I only stuck in this area for almost 7 hrs. Without toilet, changing room etc. Very disappointed!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Furnished apartments” may be a misnomer, for there is neither cooking facility within the “apartment” nor a grocery store within walking distance. That some say the front desk is helpful warrants verification; this review (who speaks broken Thai) has met with three management type and two housekeeping type — none spoke English.
Two pluses and one and a half minus. First, the good news. The grounds are absolutely charming: old trees and lots of greenery; see photo. And the rooms are nice, especially the ones at the end, such as #01, #11, #21, etc. You pay $3-4 more, but you get a lot more back: in the front of the “apartment” room is wall to wall sliding glass door facing the trees. Highly recommend taking a VIP room. Despite its age, everything in the unit works.
On the negative side, the neighborhood is nothing to write home about: narrow lanes with occasional zippy motorcycles and frequent roaming / barking dogs. See photo and note that the width of the alley permits passage of only one vehicle. Food, even beverage, is no where to be found (as this reviewer has walked to and from the lake, on an excursion tour of the nine storey temple Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon). On the half minus bit, the property seems to be run by a family: sometimes the grandma, sometimes the grandpa, (both living in unit #05) but mostly daughter in-law (who speaks Thai only) does what he or she pleases. For example, upon checking out at 6:30, grandpa says wait for the housekeeper (to come to work）who mercifully arrives at 7:00.
To be fair, if you have a car and plan to stay for more than a day then this place can be home away from home. Indeed waking up at 5:40 finds the parking lot full. But if you are a tourist on foot (as I am), then visit that tall temple, stay for one night and try out one of the restaurants north of the temple along the lake shore (as I did).
