A fresh market directly opposite Chaturat City Hall. On weekends, the parking lot of the city hall will be opened and a regular market will be held.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I left Bangkok and chose to stay in Ban Kok Chatturat during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I live 300 meters from this government market and shop there often. Vendors start setting up around 16:00 hrs but a few food vendors are here in the morning and mid-day. Most of the sellers are not in the covered market, rather they set up afternoon in the parking lot beside it. There is a great selection of cooked food. I highly recommend the fried chicken. There are usually 2 or 3 people selling chicken, try them all and find your favorite! There's a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruit from local growers. I prefer to buy fresh meat at the big private market on the main highway. There are a lot of sellers with large bags of produce for sale to resellers. There are also many consumer good like clothing, sandals, and toys available. After 5 months living in the village I never tire of coming here.
