Place is utterly run down.
There is no 30 minute option. That’s all the time I had. Which I made clear.
I also made clear that charging 300 baht would not be ok. Yet that’s what I was asked to pay after the 30 minutes.
Just for comparison: A full hour Thai massage, next to hotel muse, in a nice not run down location, is 270 baht.
So rather than wiggle out of the discussion and then insist on full payment the owner could have opted for
1) add another massage therapist to do the head / shoulder giving full value in 30 minutes
Or
2) Charge a lower price for 30 minutes.
There are so many foot places next to one another. Try another one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Footjoy is *not* temporarily closed, although after my experience there yesterday maybe it should be.
Two days after writing a glowing review of the foot and traditional Thai massages I had received here, I returned to the shop with my friend. We both had Thai massages. And both our massages were terrible. On Tuesday I had one of the best Thai massages ever at this shop. But yesterday,I had the absolute worst massage I've ever had anywhere. Too soft, too fast, no communication with the masseuse, and no indication that she had any idea what she was doing. And my friend said the same about their massage.
So my 5 star review is now 2 stars. If you're lucky, you might get a decent massage there. But I wouldn't count on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a regular customer of Footjoy for about six months, and my wife and I have both had excellent massages every time. We have had many foot massages there, which have been strong and professional regardless of which masseuse we got, and just yesterday I had oil massage for a back ache, which was quite good as well. We know the store isn't fancy, but we don't mind because we've always had great service. Highly recommended.
