Founded in 1957, it was later promoted to a four year Bachelor Program at the Department of Medical technology within the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University in 1971. In response to the rapidly growing demand of paramedical science professionals, the Department then had separated from the Faculty of Medicine on the 16th November 1991, and established the 17th Faculty of Chulalongkorn University under the name of “Faculty of Allied Health Sciences”.
