The Embassy Manager, Peter was so lovely and gave me the assurance that my passport might arrive back sooner than later...also expressed his frustration with Pretoria....the lady that did the paperwork was patient and very helpful! All done within 1 hour. Viva South Africa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit by appointment only.. unfortunately very short hours and limited number of people permitted in the reception area due to Covid. Service is efficient and friendly albeit the time queueing that might depend who needs what done before you.
What ever service are paid for, exact fees only in cash.. and no refunds /transfers or change as per the notice posted.
Some services might take a few months depending the service required.
ID / passport required for an access card in the building lobby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called 8 times within the day, but no answer. Also, no answer to my email. Hopefully I'll have better luck going in to speak to an actual human being.
*Visited them in person, to be asked if I made an appointment. Mentioned that I called and emailed with no answer... they slotted us in with no issue. Probably an hour waiting. No issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best service I've had in all my life as a South African!! I had an appointment between 9-12. They opened at 09:00 and I renewed my Passport within 20 minutes done and dusted! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Place was neat and facilities were actually very clean! I am amazed. ?
