★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a lot of concerns in the first place mostly caused because of the negative reviews but this place is definitely worth a trip!
We stayed for the overnight program and had a blast. Truth out the two days we had kind of a tight schedule but every activity was very fun.
On the first day we were feeding the elephants, cooking sticky rice for them, cutting grass for them and took a bath with them.
The second day started with a hike to the middle of a mountain with a stunning view!
After breakfast we had kind of a private feeding and bath session with two elephants and just a very small group of visitors. Later that day we went out for a very fun activity called “floating the river” with the same group and an instructor. In the end of the second day we fed the elephants one more time.
The staff is very polite and was open for all the questions we had.
Our bungalow wasn’t that nice but ok for just one night.
For all the last concerns you should really think about how the elephants were treated before coming to the ElephantsWorld. In my opinion the elephants have kind of a tight schedule, yes and don’t need a bath every day but you have to face reality, a place like this won’t finance itself and in the end the elephants seem happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elephants World is truly a magical sanctuary for elephants, ranging from ages 2 to 65. I had one of my best adventures ever! Being able to go into the lake with the elephants to bath, splash around and wash mud on them was the most natural childish fun for an adult. Feeding the elephants and hugging and kissing them and seeing that they love each other and love people makes you feel like you are in the most special place. It is truly beautiful and the organization is first class. We even prepared medicine for the elephants to take and learned how they are cared for by a very loving community. This is a true one in a lifetime experience, unless you live in Thailand and can do it every day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This experience was one of the best. The elephants are so nice and you can see how they enjoy their life. They are so gorgeous and wonderful giants. I respect elephants even more after that visit. Everyone should be so kind with animals. I was working with one girl (forgot her name), she was so nice and also the taxi driver was such a great guy, I think his name was Teb or something like that. But all employees there were very good and kind. Love it. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely full day trip with our 5-year old son booked through the Sanctuary and it was a very special experience. We fed and bathed the younger elephants, who all seemed very happy and well-cared for, and helped make special rice-balls for the older elephants who were in their 70s and 80s. We were also taken to the fields and helped cut down the food for them. Our guide was really nice and made a big effort to capture family photos. The only downsides were that our driver had some car troubles on the way over (it's about 2.5 hours depending on where you are staying) and that the lunch provided was quite bad, but these were totally overshadowed by the incredible opportunity to swim, bathe and help look after rescued elephants in a majestic setting! We did the combination trip with the floating market and would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible experience where the elephant's are treated well! There is no riding which is great! We got to feed them, drive to collect bananas for them and swim with them in the mud bath before letting them walk around us whilst we spoke to the tour guide. The elephant's are all rescued including one from the circus and there was a 4 year old baby playful elephant and a pregnant elephant! Food was also brilliant and the staff were outstanding! Can't wait to go here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magical experience. Interacting with the elephants so closely, especially swimming with them, was very special. Our guide was knowledgeable and welcoming. The booking process was really easy too, including the private car transport from Bangkok to the sanctuary. I will never forget this place and hope to return one day. The animals were obviously well cared for and mahouts used positive reinforcement in all their interactions with them. I hope more people hear about this place and support their great work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today was one of the best days of my life. I paid 1800 for a morning half-day, which included feeding, cutting down banana trees, preparing soft meals for the elderly elephant (aged 80!), bathing and playing with these majestic creatures. It was so nice to interact with them, the kind staff, and my fellow participants as well. Hotel pickup and drop-off included. Five stars, hands down!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing experience it was. Spent 2 days and one night in the sanctuary and it was one of the most memorable experiences in my life. Edhae was our guide and he spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. Staff are Karen people, not Thais.
Our room for the night was spacious, and clean. Our meals were simple but plentiful and delicious.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of people visiting the place, our first day, we were 12, and our second day we were only 3.
Elephants are well fed and well treated.
Had the chance to play with them, feed them, bathe them.
Requires a lot of money to maintain this place since each elephant eats around 300kg of food every day (they have 9). Staff are 20 people, so you can imagine. Obviously they need tourism to keep the elephants alive. These elephants are rescued and almost impossible to make it on their own in the wild.
Highly recommended.
