★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a restaurant when we stayed at Chatrium residence for a change. We located this restaurant which was opposite Bangkok Garden Condominium which is again next to Chatrium. The food was good. The waiters did not wear a smile and worked like robots, took order and served it. We first sat inside but found the AC too cool. So, preferred outside sitting. A group of people were sipping their Beers and smoke. But the smoke did not bother us. It was a good experience.

However, the son of the owner usually takes over a table and enjoy watching whatever he wants on the tellie, most of the times quite loud and inappropriate for children so it's difficult to take my children to eat there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best way to get here is by taxi, or a short walk from BRT Thanon Chan station. It's in the Soi behind Central Plaza Rama 3, near plenty of condominiums and hostels - Chatrium Sathorn, Narathiwas Residence etc. This place serves a good choice of menus for both Thai and Western food. Thai food tastes great and you can always ask for less spicy. The best part about this place is that the dishes are reasonably priced with a pretty good portion size. The place gets more crowded during evening time with lots of foreigners coming here for beer especially during football season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice local restaurant with a lot more local visitors than internationals (a good thing in my opinion). Never too busy, air-conditioning is ideal and the staff, albeit lacking English, trying very hard to be friendly and helpful. I like coming here for a beer or meal, as the menu is very detailed and lots of options are available. The Thai food is fantastic but a more western menu is available as well. I have had both and can recommend Charlie browns for sure. The atmosphere is simple and local, and seating g is available inside or outside. Restrooms are very well kept, at the back and generally, it seems hygiene is well maintained overall. Give it a shot, especially after dark. Simple, fun and tasty.
