★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reached ayutthaya in less than 2 hours! Awesome experience... Am being directed to the tourist information counter, which acts a a tuk tuk center. The person in the counter will ask u to pay 900 baht for 3 hours.. If you are able to find another 2 (travelling with another person), total 4 of us to share the cost, it will be worthwhile. You have to bargain with the guy at the counter. *do remember that there are only 5 UNESCO sites in ayutthaya. The rest are ruins from the ancient city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small station but i believe this is the heart of Ayutthaya town. Many tourist. The local council or gov should install fans here as is it tooo hot. You will be sweating waiting for your train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The vast ruins of the city paint a picture of the history of mankind and conquering lands. I had a tour guide so got a lot of information about the past. So many Temples worth visiting and so beautiful from a Photographers view point. There is a sunset cruise which takes you through the river such that the sun sets with the silhouette of the Temples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cheapest and also interesting way to travel from Bangkok to Ayuthaya is railway. If you arrive in Bangkok at Don Muang airport, so there is a railway station right next to the airport. If you are in Bangkok, so you should go to Hua Lamphong station. Ayuthaya station is really nice and good station and the staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. However, delays should be expected quite often.!!! From the railway station, go across the road towards the river, there is a ferry service to the other side then to Chao Phrom Market the to the heart of Ayutthaya...!!!
