★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite an old hotel. The hardware are old and dingy, however, there seems that there are some constructions and upgrades going on. Therefore, I'm excited to see the change in future.
It is probably the biggest hotel closest to Suvarnabhumi Intentional Airport. An ideal hotel for stopover or transit as it's probably about 15 mins from the airport.
There are also SPA and other shops added to the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable price, clean, great thai massage service, good food. Suitable for budget traveller. But wifi is a big problem. 1. When crowded it is vey difficult to even connect. I can only connect when people are out of hotel. 2. The set up of the wifi is horrible. I need to sit near the door to get the signal strong enough to work! Need to fix that problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best hotel as venue for conferences and seminars I attended. It offers good accomodations but cheaper hotel rates. The foods in this hotel caters people who are health conscious because of its balance servings of veggies and meat. If I can visit Bangkok in the near future , I will bring my family in this hotel for accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are clean, simply furnished, but a bit dated, which isn't surprising given the age of the hotel. Electrical outlets in the room are limited. Physical wear and tear is evident in many places. But given the price point, there is not too much to complain about. The staff really does try to accomodate requests and provides good service. Shuttle service to Central Plaza and the BTS can be arranged through the hotel, I am not sure if there is a charge for this service. There are also a number of event/banquet venues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we noticed many hairs under the blanket before we go into bed. It means staff only tidy up the room without changing the bedsheet and blanket cover.
We are able listen next door's conversation clearly. Too many PRC staying here. They are able turn the hotel to a fresh market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avana hotel is fantastic perfect service and always friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well maintained and the beds pleasant. The pool offers additional pleasure and the restaurant is highly recommended with excellent cuisine. Highly recommended - will gladly come back if possible. ***y thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple clean hotel. No frills. Comfortable beds. Plumbing dated but functional. Food in restaurant is good. Breakfast buffet favors Chinese-based items. The menu items have remained the same since my first visit in 2008. Great place to rest and sleep. Massage services are available at good rates. In room TV is modern cable service good. Internet is available but slow and not all rooms have good signal. The closer to the router the better. Streaming services not possible. What'sup app works but hit or miss on reliability. I have stayed here upon arriving and leaving Bangkok since 2008, and it's close to airport, quiet, and have very friendly staff who speak English. Strongly recommend the Avana Hotel Bangkok
