My guru, Luangta Michael, the abbot of a nearby temple directed me to this place when I was driving him around in his car because monks are not really allowed to drive themselves. Community volunteers provide transportation or they volunteer to drive a temple car that gets used to drive around monks and novices. I learned to drive stick shift in this old reliable vehicle we drove to this temple and had coffee with the abbot. He showed us around and I got to see monks and local people working on construction, improving the temple as a spiritual practice. Making merit action.
