Nai peng kua gai now serves a few other dishes, but don't get distracted--- what people really come here for is a Thai chinese egg encapsulated noodle called 'kua gai' (order it with the wide rice noodles, thats the best!). This is the specialty of the house and made expertly. There aren't many other places making such a delicious version and the owner and his kids are almost always there. Got a mention from the Michelin guide, but has been in the same place for years even after so many changes and old building torn down in the are. More difficult to find now that the park is installed nearby, but definitely worth the search if you're in the area!

Kru Gai means frying chicken. It a very basic concept of cooking but this place makes it an art. Many former Chula students will remember this place and the taste of those pan fried noodles more than any lectures. The ingredients are basic: chicken, noodles and egg but the smoky taste of the noodles can not be replicated with normal cooking utilities. Wielding that hundred years old looking pan must be part of the magic. Count yourself lucky if you get the chance to sit down and enjoy this dish.

The wok hei of the noodle is just amazing, and they have many choices from seafood to chicken to pork, which comes with some crispy snacks at the side and wrapped with egg. Also, their pork soup is season well and all the meat are cooked to perfection, no overcooked meat and they are very fresh and tender.

One of the best Thai style fried rice noodle with chicken. The soft rice noodle is sweet with wok burnt aroma, and marinated chicken taste so good! Also recommend their "3 pork" soup, consist of pork slices, minced pork, and fried pork belly in peppery soup. And longan fruit drink if you have a sweet tooth.

My legendary Wok Fried Noodle "Kua Gai" that I had been dining for last 10 years. I moved my office so I didn't came here any more. Today I came back after last visited 6 years ago. It is the same fantastic and delicious noodle that I dream of. What I love the most is to order one rice noodle with chicken (Sen Yai Kia Gai) and one fish noodle with chicken (Taro Kia Gai) and eat them all by myself. The price is very cheap and it is very local style Do not miss.

Kind of sweet. Not very special. Very bad service. The price on the menu for seafood noodle is 70 baht, but the shop charged us 80 baht for no reason. We asked gently to see if there was any mistake, but then received very very very impolite respond without any explaination. Dissapointed. Never come back
