★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Good for small groups of friends who want some food, drink, and karaoke. Wireless microphone circulates the room with patrons taking turns to sing at their tables. On a weekday night, business was steady but not crowded. I didn't see a list of available karaoke songs. People seemed to just name their song off the top of their head and discuss their selection with the waiters. If they have non-Thai/Isan songs, there was no evidence of that. Service was attentive and friendly. Welcoming of new comers; not cliqueish. But groups of customers don't intermingle as seems normal at this type of venue. Some ability with Thai is essential; no English menus. Staff assumed, I think, if I could make my way there that I must know Thai (I do) and never broached speaking English. Food reasonably priced at around 80 to 150 baht per dish. Tasty. An adequate selection of Thai dishes for a small restaurant. It's not a "bar food" menu but an actual restaurant menu. Drinks are beer mostly by the bottle or Thai whisky by the bottle. No cocktail menu and I didn't see any evidence of wine. A large bottle of beer about 120 baht, Thai whisky (75 cl bottle) about 450 baht. A lounge/restaurant atmosphere; not a club atmosphere. Music and mic volume just right - not excessively loud but also not conducive to long, deep conversations. I will go again.
