★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great boat but spoilt when paying my drinks bill the waiter asked if the change was for him. So dumfounded l said yes when l should have said "for your rudeness NO!
Also don't expect the last 30minutes enjoying the scenery pass by as you enjoy your drink. No chance of that your waitress will be trying constantly to removing your drink.
The food was great But!... I had been in Thailand and Cambodia for a month eating the local food with no problems until the following day after my boat trip.
To sum up great boat and thats about it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We joined the River Cruise along Chao Phraya River with the Grand Pearl 1.
It was a nice relaxing time for us. The cruise was smooth so you won't feel that you're on the river, except for the fact that you are actually moving along.
The food, while there's some variety, were average. They're not bad, just not fantastic. Perhaps the variety made up for the lack of quality.
The entertainment was the disappointing part. We were seated on the top deck, which is open air. There was a guy who impersonated as Elvis and sang Elvis' songs and attempted to dance like Elvis. However, it was clear that he did not have the ability to do a good impersonation. Some of his performances were really painful to watch. Also, we found the sound level a little over the top, so much that we could not carry out normal conversations.
Overall, I found the cruise relaxing (not peaceful, though), but would probably not choose to go with this company in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey. The first thing I got from the reviews I read. There are a lot of cruises in Bangkok, but this one is the most luxury.
The pickup service is very nice. They picked up us in hotel, with a very kind driver, clean and luxury van (even there are only 4 of us inside).
They let us stay in the luxury restaurant while waiting for the boarding time.
Lot of foods and very good service. There are live music and everyone can dance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic time on the Grand Pearl I. Very nice ship. Excellent service with a full array of wines and cocktails. The food was 3 stars, but the dinner buffet offered a wide selection of decent food. Not sure if they have different options, but I highly recommend dining/sitting on the top, open air roof level. It offers the best views. The route takes you through the heart of the city with many things to see including several temples. Although I saw many boat tour operators, this particular one is a great way to see Bangkok.
