Had breakfast here today. Strange breakfast and not what I was expecting. Not cheap either... can see how the 'son' could come across as creepy..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About the place itself I cannot say anything bad. The room is large and very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The owner is an extremely nice and friendly lady with perfect English skills. However the son is the problem and female single travelers should be aware of this creep.
While I had coffees in the first morning we had some small talk and after about 20 minutes he asked me if I smoke pot. He immediately apologized for asking after I denied.
Not many minutes after I left to the beach, he started to send me creepy text messages such as “Hey sexy”, “I think about u(tongue)” – (I have a pierced tongue and he mentioned to me before that he likes this).
Of course I stayed out all day long and late into the night. I killed all my time as I was a bit scared and did not want to meet him there. They have only 3 rooms and I was the only guest! Fortunately i was escorted home from friends who waited downstairs until I was in my room safely. My sleep was not the best knowing that there is a duplicate key in the house.
In the next morning I went downstairs with my bag just before check out time. I had the feeling that he regretted what he did and noticed that there is no interest on my side when he did not receive any feedback. He served me two coffees and we had some small talk but nothing personal. I did not mention his misbehavior and thought it was done, now.
Later this afternoon – I was glad I moved to another hotel – I received a text saying “Can we be more than friends” – a tongue sticker he sent as well…. Of course I did not react.
In the evening I got text message saying “Do you like… BIG??? - I thought this is not the top of the mountain but was wrong.
Again, of course, I did not react and finally two days after I already left he sent me a picture of his fully erect private part!!!
Can you believe how creepy a manager of a guest house can be? Well, I can’t.
I decided that I will post a review and in addition I sent his mom a text message that she should tell her son not to send me any messages of sexual nature and pictures of his private parts. Hopefully she told him as a mother who wants to run a successful café and guest house should. He is 42 years old by the way and grew up in the US.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple set up but it atmosphere is a bit more cosy then it next door Heaven Restaurant. I don't think Corner Restaurant serves dinner. It breakfast is good.

Peter, his wife and Ginger (the dog), are all very friendly! Highly recommend here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We like the place. The owner and her son are very helpful. The cafe is cosy and well arranged with lots of plants outside. It makes us feel like home with little garden. They have private parking next to the hotel, walking distance to the beach and cicada market at night. The room is big and bright, the bathroom is spotless clean. Breakfast is quite good and coffee is excellent.
If I have to say something not so positive, it's a walk-up hotel and we stay on the third floor, which is the top floor no elevator.
